Oh wow guys it's been like nearly a year since I updated this ^^; Prepare for a long journal!

I never had time to go on deviantart anymore O_O, but it's okay now,I've been having an akuroku crave lately, so I'l lbe on it ALOT at this moment. xD

Okay let's see, alot has happened.

First, I satarted this awesome Leadership program for my scholarship during the summer. It was so much fun, I made new friends, ate good food, and learn alot of things about myself I never really fully acknowledged. And Michell got me into Paramore too. xD

During late August or so, I started reading NANA.

I love love LOVE Nana! :3

Everything about it. The fashion, the relationships, the humor, it's Yazawa, I love it. ^^ My favorite characters are Nana Osaki and Shin, though to be honest, I love all the characters (well except Takumi xD,)but everyone else contributes something I find is important.

Of course, with the reading of NANA, I've started watching a few episodes, and I love the voice actors, and the Openings and Endings to all the episodes. ^^ I've become addicted to Wish lately. :3

On a NANA note I can't believe ____ died. :crying: It can't be be. He was amazing >_< I was like OMFG WTF?! when I saw the car crash. This was almost as devestating when Hachi chose to marry ____.
:disbelief:

Before I even read NANA, I read Kagen No Tsuki and Gokinjo Monagatari. I'm trying toread as many works by Yazawa as I can lay my hands on (or my computer can.) They're all really good, even if Kagen no Tsuki isn't one of Yazawa's best works, she does a fair attempt at the horror/supernatural genre. On the other hand when it come to Gokinjo Monagatari I belive it was one of her best works.

It was one of the few manga where the coupels at the end were expected, and there wasn't any MAJOR drama, but there was so much fashion! I loved the numerous amount of personalities xD There were so many, I loved them all. I don't think there was one character I disliked. Oh and I  Noriji too. :D xD He was so random ,people rarely acnowledge him! He's amazing though! ^^

On a sadder note, omgosh I can't find my notebook. :crying: It was an assignment notebook I used two years ago during my freshman year and I can't find it now. It had a really good story I was very fond of too. :( Though, to me the characters in my story are all like my little children. :) Especially the current one I'm working on: Bloody Ribbons. They are like my little destructive daughters xD. I hope I find it soon...

Speaking of old memories and things, I was recently thinking about Meixco. When I was a young child I would spend at least a month there once a year. Now that I've started high school, with the work and tuition I can't go to Mexico.

darn economy :disbelief:

I miss it so much though. the plaza, the coener stores with the friendly clerks and their children, the elderly lady who sold candy down the road, my uncle's shop, my friends whom I spent hours playing with, the church bells that rang hourly, and the mountains. When we drove down to Mexico, we always got a gorgeous view of the mountains, especially the sunset. I always looked forward to seeing that the most. Now, I have little to no chance to se it, since I'm planning on traveling to Japan this summer for a homestay program.

I'm looking forward to it! Since I've been wanting to go to Eastern Asia since I was six and I saw Mulan, the prospect of spending nearly 6 weeks, makes me very happy. If I don't go now, when will I ever go? Probably after college. =_=

-sigh- Decions, decisions.

Maybe if I'm lucky I can go to Mexico end of senor year?

On a happier and final note, the friend whom I mentioned is reading Fruits Basket started watching Death Note last weekend. Her brother and her friend, Natasha, are also watching it too. :giggle: I'm so happy, I love that show to death! (No pun intended.) Ironically, Natasha is a Light fangirl and I'm an L fangirl.;P haha!

I'm also going to a concert this weekend. It's a battle of the bands kinda thing, and my neighbor (whom I've known probably since I was 2) is going to have his band play. I'm really excited, not just to see his band perform, but going to a concert. Period. xD I'm looking forward to it! :D

~Brenda [[doing her best]]

Please ignore any spelling errors, I don't have time to check this, since I'm going to go off and watch WALL-E now. ^^
